Face ID fails to prevent access to iCloud Keychain passwords in iOS 13 Public Beta

Not sure why you got downvoted so hard you’re mostly right. Things like Face ID, finger print scanner, iris scanner etc are actually not that great of a security feature because it can be used against you, even if you are unwilling, or unconscious. All a cop needs to do is force your face, finger, eye whatever into it to unlock it and if you show any resisting they’ll knock you the F out and then do it. Same with border agents etc. And of course just bad people in general.

Now I suppose they can force you to unlock it even if it’s a password, by putting you in a threatening situation like waterboarding etc, but that seems to be less likely and at the end you still decide if you give it out or not.
