Will hashing in md5 protect against a sql injection attack?

Recommended Posts

As per title. I know the answer is probably way more complicated than it first seems.I do understand that when the value reflected in the wp_users file is hashed by md5, it is basically undecipherable from the cpanel end, but is this also true when someone attempts a sql injection on us?
