Segway Hoverboard Hacking

Recommended Posts

Hoverboard is one of the trending technologies around the around. People use hoverboard as a entertaining instruments as well as a means of transportation. I have seen many children who like to ride hoverboard at home. And young people use the hoverboards to go from one place to another. It is basically used for shorter distance as it is operated electric power.

Recently we have found a article on CSO, where they mentioned the possibility of hacking of Segway MiniPro Hoverboard. Though the manufacturer used 15 safety controls for on this hoverboard,  there still remain hacking risk. A hacker just need 20 seconds bluetooth connection to hack this hoverboard from users. Hacker can identify the location of the owner of this hoverboard as its system keep all in the hoverboard.

Researcher found that Segway MiniPro Hoverboard can be controlled over 200 feet distance. And the hacker can control the hoverboard like its owner. He can speed up it when need or slow down it. So it is so much vulnerable to the owner of its.

But after this research and news, the company of Segway has fixed all of these problem soon. They have fixed all of the problem which were reported on several news.

Though these problems are solved users should be aware of hacking of their hoverboard.
